The presentation dealt with the following questions:
- Can we develop within Australia over the next ten years a rich and
enduring nation-wide dialogue between the diverse cultures, faiths and
civilisations that make up the country?
- Can we develop with the peoples of Asia and the Pacific a rich and
enduring dialogue between the diverse cultures, faiths and civilisations
that make up the region?
- Who or what stands in the way of achieving these two closely connected
objectives?
- How are these obstacles to be overcome?
- Who has the interest, the will and the capacity to do the job?
